I have worked as a psychotherapist since 1982. My special interests include working with couples, individuals, on a wide range of problems people experience in their lives, who wish to achieve a new and better understanding/resolution of personal and/or relational conflicts; be they romantic or intimate relationships or parent/child relationships, the connection between the individuals and overall well being.

A better understanding of symptoms can be accomplished within a reasonably short time, especially once people recognize how to identify the build up of the symptom; be they anxiety, depression, panic attacks, sexuality. Others may wish to work on insight into issues that lay deeper inside the personality, which don’t seem have immediate rational explanations. I supervise psychotherapy students from AUT, and psychotherapists in private practice. I am an experienced group facilitator, a Founding Member of NZIPP training group and a member of NZAP Supervisor’s group.
